Having completed the Cloud Resume Challenge, I wanted to share my overall experience in this final blog entry.

While I had some prior knowledge of Python and JavaScript, this challenge pushed me to expand my coding skills and explore these languages in-depth. Completing the coding tasks not only enhanced my technical abilities but also gave me insights into software development and the process of building a cloud-based resume.
The journey from creating AWS resources to implementing Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines was a transformative experience. As I progressed, I found myself growing more confident in my abilities. Embracing the power of automation through CI/CD taught me how to streamline the development process effectively.
In my previous blog entries, I overlooked an essential aspect of the challenge: cost. Working with cloud services involves financial considerations. To my delight, I discovered that running these services in AWS was surprisingly affordable. Hosting my static website in Route 53 only cost me around $1.07 per month, and utilizing S3 for monthly storage came to approximately $0.03 per month, resulting in a total monthly cost of just $1.10 for hosting my Cloud Resume on AWS. This cost-effectiveness showcases the accessibility of AWS services, even for individuals and small-scale projects. The availability of a free tier allowed me to explore and experiment with AWS offerings without incurring charges, making it an excellent option for beginners.
Initially, I had concerns about the potential expenses of cloud services, but my experience with the challenge demonstrated that AWS provides cost-effective solutions. Careful planning and optimization of resources can help manage expenses efficiently.
